Earn a national recognized certification as:
A Certified Production Technician

The Program:

The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) is a certification body accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for its MSSC-Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) and MSSC-Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification programs under the Institute’s Accreditation Program for Personnel Certification Bodies (CBs). MSSC recently presented its 50,000th credential, which is a major milestone.

3 days per week (4 hours) for twelve weeks.

Each class is scheduled to meet class preference (mornings, late afternoon, evenings or weekends).

Classes held at Ivy Tech main Warsaw Campus with hands-on-training at the Warsaw Ivy Tech Advanced Manufacturing Training Center.

Industry experienced instructors with guest presentations by local manufacturing employers and factory tours.

Successful completion of four modules (Manufacturing Processes and Production, Quality ) provide students with the national recognized CPT designation from the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC).

Successful completion also results in 6 credit hours at Ivy Tech which can be used later  at the end degree add and is transferrable to any State of Indiana College or University.
